About Me

I am a nationally certified acupuncturist licensed and practicing in Colorado since 2002.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, an advanced degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, and my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health & Science (formerly PCOM) in San Diego.   Post graduate study included an externship at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, China, set up in 1975 by the request of World Health Organization and the only training center recognized by the WHO.  I have been working in the medical field for over 25 years including mental health, western medicine, and private practice.  My passion is the study of Chinese medicine for its ability to affect health on every level; the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.  I am a current member and a past legislative chairperson of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado’s Board of Directors, and currently a professor and a member of the clinical faculty at Colorado Chinese Medicine University (formerly CSTCM).  My practice is integrated and I employ a variety of Chinese medicine techniques including collaborating with other medical practitioners in order to address each client’s specific needs.

If you have any questions, I’d be more than happy to answer them. Educating about acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is what I do.

Thank you for visiting.
